Top picks for forex signal providers

1. IG - Best broker for forex trading signals

Company Overall Rating Minimum Deposit Average spread (EUR/USD) - Standard account Trading Signals
IG logoIG
5/5 Stars £1 0.91 Yes

IG is my top choice for forex trading signals in 2026, thanks to its world-class platform suite, deep liquidity, and fully integrated signals offering. I've been reviewing IG for over eight years at ForexBrokers.com, and it consistently ranks at the top across a wide range of categories. Trading signals are no different. For traders who want a highly trusted broker with signals built right into the platform, IG is hard to beat.

Clean integration. Signals from Acuity Research (formerly Signal Centre) and Autochartist appear directly within IG's web and mobile platforms, displayed in a screener-style table that lets you scan recent signals at a glance or click into any one for more detail. It's a streamlined setup for traders who want to act quickly when an opportunity appears.

Analyst tools. Traders can view detailed charts showing current price movement alongside future price projections, giving you a clear visual read on whether a signal aligns with your strategy. Having those projections directly on the chart makes it easy to evaluate each setup before committing.

Steven's take:

"I've reviewed IG for over eight years, and its signals integration still sets the standard. Acuity Research and Autochartist feeds sit right in the platform, and the one-click copy-to-order flow turns analysis into a placed trade faster than almost any broker I've tested."

Copy to Order feature. Instead of manually entering order details, you click once to populate the order dialogue, conveniently placed beside the chart. Combined with IG's strong execution, including the ability to place large orders in a single click, this smooth path from analysis to action is what keeps IG at the top of my list for signals trading.

2. Saxo - Seamless Autochartist integration

Company Overall Rating Minimum Deposit Average spread (EUR/USD) - Standard account Trading Signals
Saxo logoSaxo
5/5 Stars $0 1.0 Yes

Saxo is an excellent choice for traders who want forex signals from a highly rated, multi-asset broker. I've been reviewing Saxo at ForexBrokers.com since 2016, and it continues to rank near the top for its quality execution, ability to handle large orders, and extensive range of markets. Its approach to signals reflects that same focus on doing things well.

Autochartist integration. Historically, Autochartist came as a plugin or standalone tool, but Saxo has built it directly into the platform via API, blurring the line between third-party service and native feature. That integration lowers the barrier to entry for traders who want signals without extra setup, and it works across the SaxoTrader app for web and mobile as well as the desktop platform.

Analysis features. Saxo's screener lists high-level parameters for each signal generated across asset classes, then lets you dig into any signal in more detail and copy it directly to the trade ticket in the preview screen. You can toggle the expected trading range to gauge future price expectations, and tick a box to add a take-profit and stop-loss as the order is built.

Execution standards. Saxo commits to the Global FX Code, a set of principles developed by central banks and market participants to promote integrity in the forex market, and it regularly publishes execution statistics. Combined with its ability to handle large orders in a single trade, that makes Saxo well suited to all types of signals trading.

3. CMC Markets - Native pattern recognition

Company Overall Rating Minimum Deposit Average spread (EUR/USD) - Standard account Trading Signals
CMC Markets logoCMC Markets
5/5 Stars $0 1.3 Yes

CMC Markets is a highly trusted, well-regulated broker and a strong choice for trading signals in 2026. It pairs integrated pattern recognition inside its Next Generation platform with an extensive range of markets and some of the lowest spreads in the industry, including through its FX Active account for active forex traders.

Next Generation platform. Known as "patterns" within CMC's ecosystem, signals appear on charts alongside trajectory lines for support and resistance levels, functioning much like a price forecast. You can view emerging patterns as well as the historical performance of past ones, including when a signal was triggered and its related price projections and success rates.

One important note: CMC's patterns don't come with built-in risk-management parameters. If you act on a pattern, the responsibility is on you to set the appropriate stop-loss and take-profit for your trade. Traders can also manually add patterns to their charts from a library of over a dozen formations, including triangles, wedges, and head-and-shoulders patterns.

Pricing. It offers some of the lowest EUR/USD spreads in the industry. Its FX Active account, which works like a zero-spread, commission-based option at $2.50 per side ($5 per round turn standard lot), brings effective costs down to around 0.5 pips on sample data. Whether you use standard spread-only pricing or FX Active, CMC keeps trading costs competitive while you act on signals.

4. Interactive Brokers - Trading Central built in

Company Overall Rating Minimum Deposit Average spread (EUR/USD) - Standard account Trading Signals
Interactive Brokers logoInteractive Brokers
5/5 Stars $0 0.226 Yes

Interactive Brokers (IBKR) brings trading signals to its platform through Trading Central, available as part of its Pro research bundle. For traders who already value IBKR's institutional-grade pricing and deep liquidity, Trading Central adds automated technical analysis, trade ideas, and price projections without leaving the platform.

IBKR's professional toolset. Trading Central's research pairs well with the advanced charting and order types in Trader Workstation, and IBKR's integration with TradingView gives manual and algorithmic traders even more ways to act on signal-driven setups. It's a strong fit for experienced traders who want analysis layered on top of precise execution.

Access depends on your data subscription. Trading Central comes through IBKR's Pro data bundle rather than being available to every account by default, so confirm it's included in your setup before relying on it.

5. FOREX.com - SMART Signals and MetaTrader

Company Overall Rating Minimum Deposit Average spread (EUR/USD) - Standard account Trading Signals
FOREX.com logoFOREX.com
5/5 Stars $100 1.00 Yes

FOREX.com offers a well-rounded signals experience through both Trading Central and the MetaTrader Signals Market. Operated in the U.S. and globally by StoneX Group, it pairs reliable execution with multiple ways to access trade ideas, making it a solid all-around choice for signals trading.

SMART Signals tool. SMART Signals runs an automated algorithm across dozens of major global markets, scanning for short-term trade ideas based on historical price patterns, then displays them with preset take-profit and stop-loss levels and auto-populated trade tickets. It's a convenient, risk-aware way to spot opportunities.

MetaTrader support. Because FOREX.com offers the MetaTrader platform, traders also get access to the MetaTrader Signals Market, where you can browse signal providers by performance metrics and subscriber counts before deciding which to follow.

6. City Index - Trusted third-party signals

Company Overall Rating Minimum Deposit Average spread (EUR/USD) - Standard account Trading Signals
City Index logoCity Index
5/5 Stars £100.00 1.4 Yes

City Index gives traders access to signals through both Trading Central and the MetaTrader Signals Market. Backed by the financial strength of StoneX Group and regulated by the FCA, it pairs automated technical analysis and trade ideas with competitive spreads and fast execution. For traders who want established signal sources alongside a well-rounded, well-regulated platform, City Index is a dependable option across forex and other markets.

7. eToro - Copy signals from top traders

Company Overall Rating Minimum Deposit Average spread (EUR/USD) - Standard account Trading Signals
eToro logoeToro
5/5 Stars $50-$10,000 1 Yes

eToro takes a different approach, centered on human-generated signals through its social trading community. Rather than algorithmic alerts, you can follow and copy the positions of popular investors directly via CopyTrader. FCA-regulated with millions of users worldwide, eToro is especially appealing to beginners who want to learn from experienced traders, though crypto trading is restricted for U.K. retail clients under FCA rules.

FAQs

What are forex signals?

Similar to social copy trading, forex signals are a way for traders to share trading opportunities with other traders and investors. When a trading opportunity is identified, or when certain predefined conditions are met, forex signal providers can share that information (typically a buy-or-sell recommendation) with other forex traders.

Traders that receive forex signals can choose whether to act upon the signal’s recommendation. Generally speaking, trading signals are either bullish (indicating a buying opportunity), or bearish (indicating a selling opportunity).

Some signal providers are fellow human traders, and some signals are created by computer programs, but nearly all trading signals are technical in nature and utilize some underlying form of technical analysis – often involving indicators which perform calculations on the price action of an asset.

Best Forex Trading Signals Providers

Trading signals are just one tool in your trading arsenal, and should not replace your own trading strategy. That said, there are some forex signal services, platforms, and technology providers that deliver a great experience for traders who want to discover forex trading signals.

Here are some of my favorite signal providers (in alphabetical order):

Acuity Trading

Founded in 2013, Acuity Trading delivers a full suite of innovative products designed to help traders analyze market data information, including price action, market news, and economic calendar events. In March 2021, Acuity Trading announced its acquisition of Signal Centre, previously known as PIA First, which provides trading signals and remains an independent brand following the acquisition.

Acuity Trading also provides actionable market sentiment data. In 2017, Acuity formed a strategic partnership with Dow Jones Newswire to help power its calendar products and economic events analysis, which are available at a growing number of forex and CFD brokers.

Autochartist

Founded in 2004, Autochartist is a platform technology company that offers a suite of products and powerful analytical tools for traders and investors. Over the years, it has grown into a global brand that is in compliance with over a dozen global regulations from related authorities, and its technologies are used by many popular online forex and CFD brokers. Autochartist is perhaps best known for its automated chart patterns, “trade setups” (similar to trading signals), its web-based platform, and its MetaTrader plugin.

Autochartist provides trading signals driven by its database of technical charting patterns, and a plethora of other resources for traders, such as macroeconomic and fundamental news analysis, price forecasts, and risk calculations. Autochartist also offers social sentiment data on forex currency pairs and a range of other assets, updated on a minute-to-minute basis with data pulled from Twitter. Autochartist won the #1 Trading Signals Technology Provider award for the ForexBrokers.com 2026 Annual Awards.

MetaTrader Signals Market

MetaTrader is a platform suite developed by MetaQuotes Software that includes the popular MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platforms. When you are trading with a MetaTrader broker, you receive access by default to the MetaTrader Signals Market within the desktop platform and on MQL5 (except in rare cases where it is restricted by your broker).

Within the MetaTrader Signals Market, signal providers may use fully automated trading systems, discretionary trading systems (in which the provider decides when to place trades), or a combination of both types. Traders have the ability to view each trading signal provider’s number of subscribers (as well as other qualitative and quantitative metrics) to help assess the provider's performance.

Note: Some signal providers in the MetaTrader Signals Market may charge a recurring subscription fee for using their trading signals.

Signal Centre

Formerly known as PIA First, Signal Centre was acquired by Acuity Trading in early 2021 and has since remained an independent provider, though it can now leverage the technology from its parent company to power a growing list of participating brokers. Signal Centre is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the U.K., which is a requirement for companies that offer trading signals to U.K. investors.

Trading Central

Founded in 1999, Trading Central has become a major provider of technological solutions for the online brokerage industry. Known for its expanding suite of applications and automated technical analysis, Trading Central delivers a range of robust trading tools and resources such as investment research, economic calendar events, trader sentiment data, and a formidable offering of trading signals.

In the U.S., Trading Central is a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and is regulated in Hong Kong by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC). Within the EU, Trading Central is a member of the self-regulatory organization Association Nationale des Conseils Financiers (ANACOFI-CIF), and registered with ORIAS which manages registrations and is supervised by the treasury department in France.

What are the different types of forex trading signals?

Some forex trading signals are generated by human traders, while others are entirely computer-driven. Computer-generated signals use formulas to analyze the price action of an asset until predefined conditions are met. Human-generated signals may incorporate similar technical analysis but add the element of human discretion. The most common types you'll come across include:

  • Manual signals: Created by analysts who combine technical analysis with market experience and discretion.
  • Automated signals: Generated entirely by algorithms based on predefined technical conditions.
  • Technical signals: Derived from indicators and chart patterns applied to price action.
  • Fundamental signals: Based on economic data, news events, and macroeconomic analysis.
  • Copy/social trading signals: Trades automatically mirrored from another trader you choose to follow.

What types of traders should consider using forex signals?

Forex signals can suit a wide range of traders, but they're most useful when they complement your own analysis rather than replace it. Beginner traders often use signals as a learning tool, studying the reasoning behind each setup to understand how experienced traders read the market. Busy or part-time traders lean on them to surface opportunities they might otherwise miss. More experienced traders use signals as a second opinion to confirm or challenge their own ideas. What all of these have in common is that the trader still controls which signals to act on, how to size each trade, and how to manage risk. Signals are not a catch-all solution, and developing your own risk-management approach and trading strategy matters just as much when using them.

What is the best paid service for forex signals?

There's no single best paid signal service, since the right fit depends on the markets you trade, how often you want signals, and how you prefer to receive them. That said, the most reputable paid options tend to share a few traits: a transparent, verifiable track record, clear entry, stop-loss, and take-profit levels on every signal, and a strategy you can actually understand rather than a black box promising guaranteed returns.

Among broker-integrated options, established third-party providers like Trading Central, Autochartist, and Acuity Research (formerly Signal Centre) power the paid and bundled signal offerings at many top brokers, and they're regulated, well-documented, and widely used across the industry. The MetaTrader Signals Market is another paid route, letting you subscribe to individual providers and review their subscriber counts and performance metrics before committing.

Whichever you choose, be cautious of any service advertising unrealistic accuracy rates or "guaranteed" profits. Paid doesn't automatically mean better, and the statistics are clear that most retail traders lose money. Treat any paid signal service as one input into your own strategy, test it with small position sizes first, and confirm the provider's regulatory standing before subscribing.

Can I get free forex signals?

Yes, the best forex brokers offer access to high-quality free forex signals, usually available within their platform or through a dedicated website. For example, IG directly integrates PIA First and Autochartist within its web-based trading platform. One thing about IG’s integration of trading signals that I appreciate is the ability to copy a trading signal directly into a trade ticket. This feature (which is offered by other top brokers, such as Saxo) allows you to place an order without having to type in every detail, providing a smooth user experience.

Learn how to use trading signals on IG's web platform by checking out our video walkthrough:

What’s the difference between copy trading and trading signals?

Copy trading (also known as social trading, mirror trading, or auto trading) is an automatic process. Once you’ve chosen a copy trading signal provider and copied their strategy, all of their trades will automatically be replicated (or, copied) in your brokerage account. With forex trading signals, it’s ultimately up to the trader to decide if they want to follow the signal's recommendation. For example, a trader might receive a forex trading signal that looks promising, but decide to pass on the trading opportunity after conducting their own analysis.
