Fees

FP Markets vs RoboForex on commissions and fees: FP Markets is rated 5/5 stars and ranks #6 out of 63 brokers for this category, while RoboForex holds 3.5/5 stars and ranks #56/63. That gap shows up in pricing, with FP Markets delivering lower all-in trading costs versus RoboForex’s higher average spreads.

FP Markets keeps costs tight on MetaTrader and cTrader, especially with its commission-based Raw ECN account: average spreads are 0.1 pips (about 0.8 pips all-in after a $6 per round-turn commission per standard lot on forex). Its Standard account averages 1.1 pips on EUR/USD. FP Markets also earned Best in Class honors for Commissions and Fees in the 2024 ForexBrokers.com Awards. In Australia, the Iress ViewPoint suite offers Direct Market Access and full depth of book, with Standard (AUD 1,000), Platinum (AUD 25,000), and Premier (AUD 50,000) tiers; platform/data fees can apply unless you’re Premier or generate at least AUD 150 in monthly commissions. The Iress Investor account waives monthly fees but has fewer features.

RoboForex lists average EUR/USD spreads of 1.3 pips on its Procent and Pro accounts, which is high and above FP Markets’ Raw ECN all-in cost—and even its Standard account average. Cost-focused traders are likely to find FP Markets the cheaper pick, while RoboForex may appeal if you prefer its account options despite the higher spread.

Trading platforms and tools

FP Markets and RoboForex both make it easy to get started with a free demo (paper) trading account. Forex trading apps

FP Markets and RoboForex both offer mobile trading apps for iPhone and Android. Each app supports real-time watchlists and price alerts for forex and other markets, making it easy to track symbols on the go. One limitation they share is that watchlists created on mobile don’t sync with the online account, so changes you make on the phone won’t carry over to the web platform.

For charting, both apps let you draw trendlines, switch among multiple time frames, and they auto-save your drawings. FP Markets relies on the default MetaTrader toolset for indicators, while RoboForex lists 30 built-in technical studies. According to ForexBrokers.com, both apps earn 4 out of 5 stars, but FP Markets ranks higher in the Mobile Trading Apps category (#18 of 63) compared with RoboForex (#44 of 63), which may matter if app experience is a priority.

Market research

FP Markets and RoboForex both deliver daily market commentary and forex news from top-tier sources like Bloomberg, Reuters, or Dow Jones. Each broker includes Trading Central research and an economic calendar. The differences are in extras: FP Markets adds Autochartist and a sentiment tool that shows long/short positioning, while RoboForex does not. RoboForex counters with Acuity Trading (Signal Centre) insights, which FP Markets doesn’t offer. Neither broker integrates TipRanks.

For research quality, FP Markets earns 4.0 stars and ranks #25 out of 63 brokers at ForexBrokers.com, while RoboForex scores 3.5 stars and ranks #38. In short, FP Markets suits traders who want added technical scanning and sentiment data, whereas RoboForex fits those who value Acuity Trading signals alongside standard news and commentary.

Beginners and education

Comparing FP Markets and RoboForex for beginner-friendly education, FP Markets clearly offers more to learn from. It provides a full suite of forex and CFD education with 10+ articles and videos, runs monthly client webinars, and keeps a searchable archive of past sessions. FP Markets also includes 10+ beginner videos, 10+ advanced videos, and an investor dictionary covering 50+ key terms—useful for anyone starting out. By contrast, RoboForex does not meet these benchmarks: it lacks a library of 10+ forex/CFD pieces, does not hold monthly educational webinars, has no searchable archive, and does not offer sets of 10+ beginner or advanced videos or a large dictionary.

Ratings support this gap. FP Markets earns 4 out of 5 stars for education and ranks #23 out of 63 brokers at ForexBrokers.com, while RoboForex scores 3.5 stars and ranks #57.
