Xtrade scores 2.5 stars and is ranked #64 (out of 63 brokers evaluated), and it does not provide average spread data, which makes cost comparisons difficult.

FP Markets delivers its sharpest pricing on its commission-based Raw ECN account, with average spreads around 0.1 pips on EUR/USD (about 0.8 pips all-in after commission) and a $6 round-turn commission per standard lot on MetaTrader and cTrader. Its Standard (spread-only) account averages about 1.1 pips on EUR/USD. FP Markets and Xtrade both provide free demo (paper) accounts and offer their own proprietary trading platforms. FP Markets stands out for platform choice: it supports a Windows desktop download, a web-based platform, MetaTrader 4 (MT4), and MetaTrader 5 (MT5), plus copy trading. Forex trading apps

Both FP Markets and Xtrade offer mobile trading apps for iPhone and Android. If you rely on price alerts, FP Markets has them; Xtrade does not. Neither app syncs watchlists between the mobile app and your online account, so changes you make in one place won’t appear in the other.

For charting, FP Markets uses MetaTrader’s default studies and lets you draw trendlines that auto-save.
