Vantage offers three account types. The Standard STP account is spread-only with a typical EUR/USD spread of 1.30 pips (March 2023). The Raw ECN account averages 0.15 pips plus a $3 commission per side ($6 round turn) for about 0.75 pips all-in. The PRO ECN account lowers the commission to $2 per side ($4 round turn), making it Vantage’s best-priced option, but it comes with eligibility hurdles (such as wholesale-client status in Australia or a $10,000 minimum under the Cayman Islands entity). Vantage also runs an active trader program that pays $2–$8 per lot in rebates, though it’s limited to the higher-spread Standard account and requires at least $10,000 in equity to start.
VT Markets has two account choices with a low $100 minimum deposit on both. The Standard STP account is commission-free with a typical EUR/USD spread of 1.2 pips, while the Raw ECN account posts an effective 0.83 pips (0.23 average spread plus a 0.6-pip commission equivalent, September 2021). Vantage stands out for currency traders with 61 forex pairs versus VT Markets’ 39. Both brokers provide copy trading and let you speculate on cryptocurrencies via derivatives, but neither allows buying actual crypto.
