The difference comes down to how each broker structures pricing: OANDA’s spreads are generally higher unless you opt into its commission plan, whereas Exness lets you pick from multiple account types that trade off spread size versus a per-trade commission.
OANDA’s non-commission (default) pricing averaged 1.61 pips on EUR/USD in July 2024. For commission pricing, the Zero Spread account charges a $0.05 per-trade commission with market execution, and the Raw account charges up to $7 per round turn lot ($3.5 per side) with tighter spreads; both allow high leverage with margin calls at 30%. In short, OANDA’s Core plan can narrow the gap versus its default spreads, while Exness lets you fine-tune costs by choosing between spread-only or commission-based accounts.
