When it comes to commissions and fees, Vantage generally offers pricing that is about average for the industry, with the best value usually found in its commission-based accounts. The Standard STP account is spread-only and showed typical EUR/USD spreads of 1.30 pips, while the Raw ECN account had much tighter spreads of 0.15 pips plus a $3 commission per side, or $6 per round turn. The PRO ECN account is Vantage’s lowest-cost option for eligible traders, with just a $2 commission per side ($4 round turn). Vantage also offers active trader rebates of $2 to $8 per lot, though these apply only to the Standard account, which has the widest spreads. Vantage is rated 4.5 out of 5 stars and ranks #12 out of 36 for commissions and fees.
Exness also gives traders several account choices, and the total cost depends on whether you choose a spread-only or commission-based setup. Its Standard Cent and Standard accounts are commission-free but usually have wider spreads, while the Pro account offers lower spreads and either instant or market execution. For traders seeking lower upfront spread costs, Exness’ Zero Spread account charges a small commission of $0.05 per trade, and the Raw account charges up to $7 per round turn lot ($3.5 per side) with lower spreads. Overall, Exness can be competitive, but its fee structure is more varied than Vantage’s. Exness is rated 4 out of 5 stars and ranks #33 out of 36 for commissions and fees.
In simple terms, Vantage tends to come out ahead on commissions and fees, especially for traders who can qualify for its PRO account. Exness still has useful low-cost choices, but its overall pricing is not as strong in this category according to ForexBrokers.com.

When it comes to range of investments, Vantage and Exness both let you trade forex as CFDs or spot contracts, and both also offer cryptocurrency CFDs. Neither broker offers access to real shares on U.S. or international stock exchanges, and neither lets you buy delivered cryptocurrency. Still, Vantage gives traders a much wider overall selection, with 1,028 tradeable symbols compared with Exness’s 239.
There are some clear differences in forex choice, too. Exness offers more currency pairs, with 78 compared with Vantage’s 61, while Vantage stands out by offering copy trading, which Exness does not. Both brokers receive the same 3.5 out of 5 stars for Range of Investments, but Vantage ranks slightly higher in ForexBrokers.com’s review, placing #34 out of 36 brokers versus Exness at #37.

Vantage and Exness both give traders a solid mix of platform choices and tools. Each broker offers a free demo account for simulated trading, its own in-house platform, a Windows desktop download, a web-based platform, MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, and the ability to trade directly from charts. Both are also rated 4 out of 5 stars for Trading Platforms and Tools, showing that each offers a good overall trading experience for beginners and active traders alike.
The biggest difference is copy trading: Vantage offers it, while Exness does not. Exness does, however, rank higher in ForexBrokers.com’s Trading Platforms and Tools category, placing #15 out of 36 brokers compared with Vantage’s #20. For traders who want copy trading, Vantage may have the edge, but for those mainly comparing platform quality and access, both brokers look very similar.

Vantage and Exness both offer mobile trading apps for iPhone and Android, along with price alerts, watchlist syncing, and the ability to draw trendlines on charts. Each app is also rated 4 out of 5 stars for mobile trading, so both brokers give traders a solid on-the-go experience. For everyday use, the two platforms are fairly even on the basics, especially if you want to track markets and manage watchlists from your phone.
The main difference comes down to charting tools and convenience. Exness offers 100 technical studies in its mobile app, compared with 14 for Vantage, which may appeal more to active chart users. On the other hand, Vantage automatically saves chart drawings in the app, while Exness does not. Vantage and Exness both give traders daily market commentary, Trading Central tools, and an economic calendar, which makes it easy to track news and plan trades. Vantage also stands out with a sentiment tool that shows long and short positioning across instruments, while Exness does not offer this feature. Neither broker provides research from Autochartist, TipRanks, or Acuity Trading.
Where Exness has the edge is in forex news from top-tier sources such as Bloomberg, Reuters, and Dow Jones, which Vantage does not offer.
