When it comes to commissions and fees, Vantage and Exness both offer account choices that can suit different trading styles, but Vantage comes out ahead overall. Vantage is rated 4.5 stars and ranked #12 out of 36 brokers for Commissions and Fees. Its pricing depends on the account type, with the spread-only Standard STP account, the commission-based RAW ECN account, and the lower-cost PRO ECN account. Vantage’s Standard account had typical EUR/USD spreads of about 1.30 pips, while the RAW account averaged 0.15 pips plus a $3 commission per side. The PRO account is the cheapest option for eligible traders, with only $2 per side in commission.
Exness is still a solid low-cost broker, but it trails Vantage in this category. Exness is rated 4 stars and ranked #32 out of 36 brokers for Commissions and Fees. It offers a wider mix of account types, including Standard Cent, Standard, Pro, Zero Spread, and Raw accounts. The commission-free accounts tend to have higher spreads, while the commission-based Zero Spread and Raw accounts offer tighter pricing. The Zero Spread account charges a small per-trade commission, while the Raw account charges up to $7 per round turn lot, making it better suited to active traders who want lower spreads.
In simple terms, Vantage is the better pick for commissions and fees if you want stronger overall value and more competitive pricing on its best accounts. Exness still gives traders plenty of choice, but its average fees and spreads are not as favorable as Vantage’s. If keeping trading costs low is your main goal, Vantage has the edge.

When it comes to range of investments, Vantage and Exness both let clients trade forex as CFDs or spot contracts, and both offer cryptocurrency CFDs rather than actual crypto. Neither broker supports buying real shares on U.S. or international stock exchanges, so if you want access to listed equities, neither platform provides that. Both are also tied on ForexBrokers.com’s Range of Investments score, with each receiving 3.5 out of 5 stars.
Vantage stands out for having a much wider overall selection, with 1,028 tradeable symbols compared with Exness’s 239. Vantage also offers copy trading, which Exness does not. Vantage and Exness both give traders a solid mix of platform choices and tools. Each broker offers a free demo account for simulated trading, its own in-house platform, a Windows desktop download, a web-based platform, MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, and the ability to trade directly from charts. Both are also rated 4 out of 5 stars for Trading Platforms and Tools, showing that each offers a good overall trading experience for beginners and active traders alike.
The biggest difference is copy trading: Vantage offers it, while Exness does not. Vantage and Exness both give mobile traders the basics they need, with iPhone and Android apps, price alerts, watchlist syncing, trendline drawing, and solid overall mobile ratings of 4 out of 5 stars. Each broker lets watchlists update across the app and online account, which makes it easier to keep track of positions and markets on the go. For everyday mobile trading, the two platforms are closely matched on the most common features.
The main difference comes down to charting and overall ranking. Exness offers 100 technical studies in its mobile app, compared with 30 at Vantage, which may appeal to traders who rely more on chart analysis.
