Fees

FxPro’s commissions and fees are higher than the industry average, which can make it less appealing for cost-conscious traders. On its cTrader platform, FxPro uses commission-based pricing and offers its best overall trading costs, with an effective EUR/USD spread of about 1.27 pips after commissions. Its MT4 and MT5 accounts use variable spreads, with EUR/USD pricing around 1.58 pips on market execution MT4, 1.51 pips on MT5, and 1.71 pips on instant execution. FxPro also offers an Elite account with an Active Trader program that can cut costs by up to 30%, but it still trails cheaper rivals. FxPro is rated 4 out of 5 stars and ranked #29 out of 36 brokers for commissions and fees.

Tickmill is generally the lower-cost choice, especially for active traders. Its Classic account is commission-free, but the spreads are wider, averaging 1.76 pips. The Raw account is where Tickmill is strongest for pricing, with typical EUR/USD spreads around 0.11 pips plus a commission of $3 per side, or $6 per standard lot. Even with that commission, Tickmill’s all-in trading cost remains competitive, and the Raw account starts with a low $100 minimum deposit. Tickmill is rated 4.5 out of 5 stars and ranked #10 out of 36 brokers for commissions and fees.

In short, Tickmill offers better overall value for most traders, while FxPro may suit those who want more platform flexibility and can accept higher trading costs. If your main goal is keeping commissions and spreads low, Tickmill has the edge.
