When comparing commissions and fees, Vantage and Eightcap are both fairly close on price, but Vantage comes out ahead overall. Vantage offers three account types: the spread-only Standard STP account, plus the commission-based RAW ECN and PRO ECN accounts. Its Standard account had a typical EUR/USD spread of 1.30 pips, while the Raw account showed an average spread of 0.15 pips plus a $3 commission per side, for an all-in cost of about 0.75 pips. Vantage’s PRO account is the cheapest option if you qualify, with a $2 commission per side, making it a good fit for more active traders who can meet the higher account requirements. Vantage is rated 4.5 out of 5 stars for commissions and fees and ranks #12 out of 36 brokers.
Eightcap also gives traders a choice between a commission-based Raw account and a spread-only Standard account, with costs varying by entity. Its Raw account lists an average spread of 0.06 pips, but once the $3.50 per-side commission is added, the total trading cost comes to roughly 0.76 pips. That places Eightcap just under the industry average, but still a little more expensive than the lowest-cost forex brokers. Eightcap is also rated 4.5 out of 5 stars for commissions and fees and ranks #20 out of 36 brokers.
In simple terms, both brokers offer competitive pricing, especially on their commission-based accounts, but Vantage has the edge thanks to its lower all-in pricing on the Raw account and its lower-cost PRO option for eligible traders. Eightcap remains a solid choice, but if fees are your main concern, Vantage is the slightly better pick.

Vantage and Eightcap both give traders a solid mix of platform choices, including free demo accounts, Windows desktop downloads, web-based trading, MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, and the ability to trade directly from charts. Vantage and Eightcap both give mobile traders the basics they need, with iPhone and Android apps, price alerts, trendline drawing, and auto-saving chart drawings on both platforms. Each broker also earns a 4-star rating for mobile trading apps, so either one can work well if you want to trade on the go.
