Fees

Trading 212 offers zero-commission trading on its CFD account, but that does not mean trading is free. You still pay the spread on CFDs and forex, and its pricing is not especially competitive on major currency pairs. For example, Trading 212 reported an average EUR/USD spread of 2.7 pips in April 2025, which is well above the industry average. Trading 212 earns 4 stars and is ranked #28 out of 36 brokers for commissions and fees.

Fusion Markets takes a lower-cost approach with two account types: Zero and Classic. The Zero account uses raw spreads from 0.0 pips plus a separate commission, which Fusion says can work out to around 0.5 pips overall. The Classic account keeps pricing simpler by folding the fee into wider spreads, starting at 0.9 pips. This makes Fusion a better fit for cost-conscious traders, especially active forex traders who want tighter pricing. Fusion Markets earns 5.0 stars; its ranking for this category was not provided (#N/A).

In simple terms, Trading 212 may appeal to traders who like the idea of zero commission, but its spreads can be costly. Fusion Markets generally offers lower all-in trading costs, especially on its Zero account, and is the stronger choice if keeping commissions and fees down is your main goal.
