IG and FP Markets are both strong on pricing, but they take different routes. If you want simple, low all-in costs on MetaTrader or cTrader, FP Markets’ Raw ECN account is very sharp. If you’re a high-volume forex trader who values direct market access and volume-based discounts, IG’s Forex Direct (DMA) pricing is compelling.

IG’s spread-only CFD account averaged about 0.69 pips on EUR/USD during main trading hours in July 2023 (about 0.98 pips across the whole day). Pros who qualify can tap tiered spread rebates of 10% to 20%, which can trim costs meaningfully (IG’s example shows pricing dropping to roughly 0.60 pips with the top rebate). Its spread-only Standard account is pricier at about 1.1 pips on EUR/USD. You can use either pricing model on MetaTrader or cTrader.
